Key Facts ~
Grandview R-II School sets on 40 acres in Southwestern Jefferson County, Missouri. We are surrounded by rolling hills and fields. The school serves a rural community covering 73 square miles.
The Grandview R-II School District is proud of its heritage and community support. Formed from the consolidation of eight (8), one room schools in 1939, the district has seen a steady growth while remaining a rural area. From the Fassen Building 1941, to the Elementary Building 1955, to the formation of the high school 1979, to the addition of the elementary 1991, the school has grown with the community to provide a quality program of academic, social, and physical opportunities for its youth.
The new High School, completed in 2001, is the first of several stages of building expansions of the Grandview campus. During the summer of 2008 a Science and Art wing was added.
The Grandview R-II School District campus serves students within an Elementary (K-5), Middle School (6-8), and High School (9-12).
