CORRECTION!!! Homecoming Court needs to be here at 6:30, NOT 6:15. Presentation of Homecoming Court starts at 6:40. I apologize for this misinformation. Again, Homecoming Court members need to be at track by 6:30PM.

Homecoming is this evening. Due to inclement weather, the student pep rally this afternoon has been postponed until next week. Most homecoming events are planned for our Basketball season homecoming, including the parade. Students are invited to attend the game and sit on the track with prior sign up. Students, don't forget to bring a lawn chair to sit in. Homecoming events tonight include the presentation of the Homecoming Court, performances by the Cheer, Dance and Marching Band and announcement of the King and Queen of the Court. Times are as follows: 6:00: Homecoming Court should arrive to line up at track 6:15: Presentation of the Homecoming Court Announcement of King and Queen Halftime: Dance, Band, then Cheer performances Game Starts at 7PM and will be live streamed by LiveStream StL.

Dear Students, Parents and Guardians, We hope everyone has enjoyed their summer break thus far. We look forward to welcoming our students back to school this fall. Attached to this post, you will find a detailed plan for school reopening (https://bit.ly/3eFzd6w). We want to keep you informed of what our re-opening plan for the 2020-2021 school year. Remember this can change due to new guidelines from federal, state and local authorities. You may contact our HS office with individual questions. Families will have the option to send their student for on-campus learning, or enroll their student for virtual instruction through the Peak K12 program. Virtual Sign-up: Parents that are interested in enrolling their child(ren) for virtual instruction must fill out the link below by August 5th in order to be enrolled. Students signed up for virtual instruction must commit to at least one full semester of online learning. Virtual instruction form: https://forms.gle/5QdtPNph6BkpmRjNA Transportation Waiver: Parents will be required to sign COVID-19 waiver forms before their child can be transported. A copy of that waiver is attached. EACH child must bring a signed copy of this waiver before they can be transported by the Grandview R-II School District. Paper copies of the waiver will also be mailed with back to school information packets. We are asking that as many as possible transport their child in their own vehicles to reduce the number of students on buses. Parents that wish to transport their elementary children may stop in the office during open house to get a car rider number. If you opt out of district transportation you are responsible for transportation for the entire semester. Transportation Waiver Form: https://bit.ly/2WBxokY As always, we thank you for your cooperation and support during these trying times. We will make it through these obstacles together as a community! Prom is tonight, July 16th, from 8pm to 11pm. To attend tonight you will need: 1. You signed up via the google form by July 2nd. Since we had to prepay for each person, students attempting to attend who are not signed up will be turned away. 2. You (and guest if a senior) will need to have a signed prom waiver stating you have answered "No" to all COVID 19 questions and are aware of the risks. Anyone 18 or older may sign their own waiver. Looking forward to seeing you tonight.
