Think of this crew this afternoon. Our transportation department is on a regular day awesome, but it really shines on the trip home after the homecoming parade.

If you've shopped at the Dollar General across the street from the school, you've probably seen Penny. Here she is representing Grandview for homecoming. We thank her for her support.
Remember, the homecoming parade starts at 2:00.

We need three football fans to help run the sidelines during home games. Call the high school if this sounds like you.

We held a drive to encourage all Eagle Nation families to register for the free/reduced lunch program, helping our district qualify for vital federal and state funding. As an incentive, we raffled Walmart gift cards. Congrats to our winners: the March family (Elementary), the Hogan family (Middle School), and the Watters family (High School). A big thank you to all of the families who participated.

Happy National Custodian Day to our amazing crew! This past summer was a busy one, and they truly stepped up to the task. Next time you see them, be sure to let them know how much we appreciate their hard work!

Remember about the varsity football game at Principia starting at 11:00 am.

The other day I took this picture through the high school entrance doors. You can see the new serving area we began using Tuesday.
One thing you can't see, however, is the clear ballistic film that has been installed on all first floor exterior windows and doors on campus.
