Thank You, Allen Davis
A heartfelt thank you to Allen Davis for his incredible service over the past 12 years. Allen has stepped into every role the district has needed — serving as Assistant Principal, High School and Middle School Principal, Curriculum Director, and overseeing all of our bond projects.
His professionalism, dedication, and leadership have made a lasting impact on our schools and community. Allen will be deeply missed, and we are so grateful for everything he has done for Grandview.

This week's Parent Newsletter is now available!
We are proud of how Eagle Nation responded to today’s situation. Our staff, students, and parents remained calm and worked together to ensure the safety of everyone involved. The quick actions of our transportation department and the swift response from local emergency services were very reassuring to know they will be instrumental in keeping everyone safe in the case of an extreme emergency.
A former teacher that has worked in different districts calls Eagle Nation "Planet Grandview" because it is a special place with extraordinary people from top to bottom that can get things done like no one else can.
Buses are on their way.
Buses are loading now.
This dismissal is for all buildings in the Grandview R-II School District.
Middle school students can be picked up along with elementary students behind the elementary building.
Also, in order to ensure the safety of students and staff the fire department is not allowing anyone to enter the middle school building. Personal items that have been left will not be able to be picked up until Tuesday.
There is no danger to students or staff but due to an issue with the transformer feeding the middle school building we will be forced to dismiss at 12:00 pm today.
As a precaution, middle school students and staff were evacuated to the elementary gym the fire department was called and is on the scene.
Thank you for your understanding in this unexpected situation.

There was a night of meetings in Eagle Nation last night. Two of the main meetings were the Staff and Community Forums with MSBA concerning the search for our next superintendent.
The results from the various forums will be presented at the October Board Meeting on the 16th.
The newest Two Week Preview of Eagle Nation is now posted! You can view it here:

We’d also like to remind everyone that the Community Forum to discuss the qualities and priorities for our next superintendent will take place Tuesday, October 7, at 7:00 p.m. in the Board Room of the Fassen Building.
Your input is an important part of this process as the Missouri School Boards’ Association (MSBA) helps guide our district in the superintendent search.
Thank you for your continued support of Eagle Nation!
