Great news from Mr. Bilin.
The Granview Eagle Pride Band took first place today at the Farmington Invitational. We also won the caption awards for Outstanding Auxiliary, Outstanding Percussion, Outstanding Music, and Outstanding Visuals.
Awesome job! Way to represent Eagle Nation.

Today the Middle School National Junior Honor Society went and helped collect money for De Soto St. Vincent De Paul. They helped raise nearly $2,000 that will be used to help families in need! Thank you to these students for braving the heat.

Mr. Don Jeffries, Eagle Curriculum Director, wins the Twin City Days Toasted Ravioli eating contest. He ate 25 ravies in 5 minutes. He then ate 13 in the 3 minute eat-off.

The Grandview R-II Board of Education has partnered with the Missouri School Boards’ Association (MSBA) to assist in the search for a new superintendent to replace Mr. Matt Zoph, who will retire at the end of his current contract.
At a special board meeting on Wednesday, August 20, the Board met with the MSBA search team—Dr. Joylynn Pruitt-Adams, Pam Frazier, and Jenny Ulrich—who will guide the process of recruiting, screening, and interviewing potential candidates.
The Board and MSBA are committed to a transparent process that values input from staff, parents, and the community. Opportunities for community feedback will be available through online surveys (link will be released very soon) and a public forum on October 7 at 7:00 pm.
