After careful review of the weather reports and predictions, Grandview R-II will have an AMI Day tomorrow, Friday, January 10. Students should follow the educational plan as prescribed earlier this school year.

Due to lingering icy conditions on district roads, Grandview R-II School District will have an AMI Day tomorrow, Thursday, January 9.

Due to extreme weather and dangerous driving conditions, we will have an AMI (Alternative Methods of Instruction) day tomorrow, Tuesday, January 7. Please follow the education plan sent home earlier this school year. Further information about other campus activities, games, and programs will be released as decisions are made. Be careful, stay warm, and remember those who have to work in these conditions.


Due to the ongoing winter storm, the Grandview R-2 School District campus will be CLOSED on Monday, January 6, 2025, for all students and staff.

🏀 Join Us for the 1st Annual Grandview R-II Hoop Shoot! 🏀 Get ready for an evening of fun, family, and friendly competition at Grandview Elementary's first-ever Hoop Shoot, sponsored by the Elks! Mark your calendars and bring the whole family: 📅 Date: November 18th 🕕 Time: 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM 📍 Location: Grandview Elementary Gym This exciting event is open to students ages 8-13! 🏆 Age divisions (8-9, 10-11, and 12-13) will allow each student a fair shot at the prize. Participants will have a 10-minute warm-up time, 5 warm-up shots, and then two rounds of shooting (10 and 15 shots). Don’t forget—accuracy counts, and staying behind the foul line is key! In the case of a tie, we’ll go into a 5-shot shoot-off. Bring your game and cheer on your favorite shooter! See you there! 🎉 📸 Check out the attached flyer for full details.

Grandview will have school today, Thursday, November 7! The water has receded enough to allow safe access to campus. Please drive carefully and watch out for any remaining water or debris on the roads. Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Additionally, there will be no transportation to ATS at Jeffco or Logos.

Hello Grandview Families,
The second quarter is off to a fantastic start, and there's so much to look forward to! Our first holiday party of the season kicks off this Friday, bringing some festive cheer to our school. Meanwhile, our dedicated staff is hard at work preparing for Family Literacy Night, ensuring it will be a fun and engaging experience for everyone.
We're also excited to host our first-ever Hoops Shoot in partnership with the Cedar Hill Elks, adding another great opportunity for students to shine. Through all the events and activities, our team continues to go above and beyond to support students in every way possible, every single day.
