It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of Mr. Karl Schlett, a beloved former teacher of the Grandview R-II School District. Mr. Schlett dedicated many years to educating and inspiring students, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His passion for teaching and his genuine care for his students made him a treasured member of the Grandview family. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024, from 11 AM – 1 PM at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 1 PM at the same location. Mr. Schlett will be laid to rest at Charter Memorial Gardens. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and the many students he touched during his time with us. Mr. Schlett's legacy will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to learn from him. Rest in peace, Mr. Schlett. You will be deeply missed. 💙
