Saucy's in Hillsboro will be donating 10% of all sales, dine-in, carry-out, or delivery, on January 30, to a Grandview family who experienced a house fire over the holiday season. A huge thank you to Saucy's for consistently supporting their community, including Eagle Nation.

Grandview will be in session tomorrow, Wednesday, January 17. Richwoods and Londell have determined not to have school, so there will be no busses to Grandview from either. Remember to dress in warm layers and limit exposure to the cold air as much as possible. See you tomorrow.

Due to extreme weather the Grandview R-II School DIstrict will have AMI Day 2 tomorrow Tuesday, January 16. This does not affect the online MOVA students.

Under an abundance of caution concerning the timing of the forecasted winter weather, Grandview will have an AMI day tomorrow, January 12, 2024. Packets of assignments have been sent home with students. AMI Day 1 assignments will be collected for a grade when students return. If students do not turn in the assigned material they are required to be counted as absent with no grade.

In order to allow students and staff to attend services honoring Ms. Jackie Sewald, classes will not be in session on Thursday, October 26. We will have a bus run to Jefferson college from the high school. December 22, 2023, and May 10, 2024, will change from noon release days to full days of attendance.

The school calendar approved in March erroneously marked March 25, 2024, with an X, indicating it would be a day when school would not be in session. Hours for that day were included in the total amount turned in to DESE for the school year. The loss of those hours would cause us to go below the minimum required by DESE guidelines. Therefore, during last night's meeting, the Grandview R-II School Board approved a measure to amend the 2023-2024 school year. Monday, March 25, 2024, will now be a day of school attendance.
